Welcome to the 7th Riddle Book episode 2 edition! Hi, I am Athena Goodman, author, and CEO of Just Believe Publishing Group. 

By the time you read this, Episode 2 will already be out!

Thank you for buying the book and following our social media accounts. Episode two will officially launch on May 28, 2021, and has already sold enough copies that it too may be listed as another bestseller in this series! But as a new author, I will want to share my ideas on what to expect from this new series going forward.

Growing up, I read every book in my elementary school library including the encyclopedias. My favorites during that time were Nancy Drew and the Hardy Boys! I later grew up to love Agatha Christie! My favorite characters are Miss Marple and Hercule Periot.

I am enjoying writing this seven-episode series. Many times there are stories discussed with my kids and people close to me and brainstorm with them about what happens. I have other books as well like cookbooks, magazines, and apps for exercising, dieting, and food management for lifestyle, health, and diversity.

I love writing as I speak. Many times the ideas come from trying to solve a problem and sharing a favorite memory or experience. I could be in the middle of a conversation and suddenly think, “Hey, that would make a great storyline or name of a character!” I have my numerous journals to prove that as I scribble down every idea that comes into my mind.

Writing a book is a very cathartic process in which it feels very much like others have been saying, one is delivering a child. Not only does it feel like you are trying to pull something out of you, but it also requires some organization of so many different areas in your life as well a lot of inspirations and meaningful experiences and interactions that contribute to my totality.

For all dreams of being a writer, a great lesson I learned about writing came from my English Composition class at Randolph Macon Women’s College. My professor just taught us to write everything and anything in our mind and heart. The one rule was that you write without self-correcting, looking back, or even stopping, just write until you are done saying what you want to say. It was the best lesson ever that made an impact on me.

I even wrote my first published song that way, by writing out all my experiences until I was mentally exhausted. Then I revisited this journal a few months later and took the words and created a new song entitled: “Winds of Change!”

The emotions should come from your heart or your own experiences and it is a good place to begin. 

I do love to write for adults as well as for children. Adult books are a way of working out challenges in my life and those around me. I’ll also have another serial currently released on Kindle Vella entitled “The Sabotage” and a family drama, “The Fragile Destiny, watching over grace”, a  healing book about siblings written in 4 volumes. 

You’ll notice that mystery thriller books have more than meets the eyes.  There are frequent instances that it will mislead and throw the readers off the scents of who the murderer(s) is(are) and misdirect them from the main plot of the story. 

I have included all levels of puzzles, riddles, anagrams, rebuses, and other methods to engage them in the Seventh Riddle episodes. They have to keep their eyes open for what might seem like one thing, maybe something else. 

If they’ll look carefully they will find other hidden messages on our second cover and others to follow. Remember the DaVinci Code? It is nothing like that but has its own set of particulars. To make things even more interesting we are developing our own Animal Crossing Island of Mystery where readers can get a special pass to enter and solve the riddles they will also find in the book that weren’t so easy to find.

In parting, just believe and anything is possible. Those are my guiding words to keep me thriving and going. Unlimited possibilities are always on the horizon.
